Ways to Support

Tributes

NCJW makes it easy to honor the special events, lifecycle events and memory of friends, family, and the special people in your life. Tributes are accepted for any amount, in honor of any person and any event. The names of all honorees and the events associated with them are published in the NCJW Seattle Section Bulletin, along with the name of the donor. The honoree or their family members receive a beautiful NCJW tribute card. Tributes can be sent to the NCJW office at 1501 17th Avenue, Box 105, Seattle, WA 98122. Any questions, call 425.558.1894 or e-mail. The following information should be included:

  • Name of Honoree
  • Address of Honoree [including city, state and zip code]
  • Amount of Donation
  • Occasion of Honor

Financial Donations

Financial contributions to NCJW for Shalom Bayit are completely tax deductible, and all donations will directly benefit the program.

Financial contributions can be sent to the NCJW office at 1501 17th Avenue, Box 105, Seattle, WA 98122. Any questions, call 425.558.1894 or e-mail.

Material Donations

Donations of gently-used, or new furniture and household items are the heart of the Shalom Bayit project. It is only through community involvement—in the form of donations, financial, and volunteer support—that NCJW is able to provide this much needed furniture bank.

Donating furniture and household items is quick and easy. Just call the Shalom Bayit Program Coordinator at 425-558-1894 ext. 2 to schedule a time to drop off, or inquiry about having your donated items picked up. We pick up large furniture items only (not small household items that can be delivered, unless they are accompanying furniture items), on the Eastside on the 3rd Sunday of the month, and request a small suggested donation of $25.00 for this service.

If you are from Seattle, and not a member of NCJW, you can contact Sharehouse, a furniture bank for formerly homeless people, at 206.767.5280, who will pickup furniture in Seattle.
