Charitable Donations & Contributions

The Seattle Section works to diversify fund development and fund raising in support of our programs and services. We raise money through grant writing, special events, membership dues, merchandise sales, tributes and honors, and personal donations.

Below are some of the ways you can give to the Seattle Section and continue to support our role in the community.

Donor Recognition Program

Tributes

NCJW makes it easy to honor the special events, lifecycle events and memory of friends, family, and the special people in your life. Tributes are accepted for any amount, in honor of any person and any event. The names of all honorees and the events associated with them are published in the NCJW Seattle Section Bulletin, along with the name of the donor. The honoree or their family members receive a beautiful NCJW tribute card. Tributes can be sent to the NCJW office at 1501 17th Avenue, Box 105, Seattle, WA 98122. The following information should be included:

  • Name of Honoree
  • Address of Honoree including city, state and zip code
  • Amount of Donation
  • Occasion of Honor

Clothesline Pins to Benefit Shalom Bayit

Clothesline Pins

Inspired by the Clothesline Project, these beautiful pins, created by artist Bonnie Shelley , are unique pieces of jewelry. The Clothesline Project was started in 1990 to address the issue of violence against women. It is a vehicle for women affected by violence to express their emotions by decorating a shirt. The shirt is then hung on a clothesline to be viewed by others as a testimony to the problem of violence against women. The pins are available in a variety of colors, and each one is attached to a card describing the Clothesline Project. The pins are being sold for $15/each. All proceeds directly benefit Project Shalom Bayit. To order pins contact the Section office at 425-558-1894.
